Here's a list of powers that will be used on the site. If you can think of any more, you're more than welcome to suggest them.

Elemental Magic
- 1. Fire Manipulation
This is the ability to create and manipulate fire. The larger or more powerful the fire is, the more energy and skill it takes to use. It takes little energy to create a small spark but it takes much more energy to create a huge ball of fire and flames.- 2. Water Manipulation
This is the ability to create and manipulate water. The larger or more powerful the water is, the more energy and skill it takes to use. Creating a small puddle takes little energy whereas creating a large lake or whirlpool will take much more.- 3. Wind Manipulation
This is the ability to create and manipulate wind and air. Changing the direction of the wind takes very little energy whereas creating a gale force wind or tornado takes a lot more. You can also change chemicals in the air, such as removing oxygen or adding hydrogen, but this takes a huge amount of energy for even a little change.- 4. Plant Manipulation
This is the ability to control plants, although you cannot create them, you can make them move and grow the way you wish. A small bit of growth or movement takes little energy, whereas controlling many plants or making them grow large/change dramatically will take more energy.- 5. Electricity Manipulation
This is the ability to control the electrical forces. You can create small sparks or, using up a lot of energy, you can even create fierce lightning. This ability is quite powerful, but it takes up a large amount of energy to use, so only those who have fully mastered the ability and are in full health should attempt a deadly lightning strike....
Psychic/Spiritual Magic
- 6. Telepathy
This is the ability to speak into the minds of others and, with a bit more energy and skill, read the surface thoughts of another. You cannot read their deep thoughts, only their light thoughts, the ones that they are not hiding.- 7. Telekinesis
This is the ability to use your mind to move objects, throwing, pulling, pushing them etc. The heavier the object, the more energy it takes to move. A small pebble will be easier to lift than a huge boulder would be.- 8. Empathy
This is the ability to know what another is feeling. You see it as a kind of glow around them. If a being was feeling angry but trying not to show it, you would still know, because you would see a red glow around them. A few colour examples: Red-Anger, White-Sorrow, Yellow-Happiness, Purple-Thoughtfulness, Green-Normal, Pink-Love, Orange-Bitterness, Black-Calmness etc. The rest are for you to decide.- 9. Astral Projection
This is the ability to project your astral, or rather, your spiritual being out of your physical being. When your spirit is out, then your body goes into a kind of trance, so you are very vulnerable. If your body is killed while you are in spirit form, then you will be trapped in spirit form. While in spirit form, you can barely move anything, you can make yourself seen or hidden and you cannot be harmed by anything or harm anyone else. You can make yourself heard if you wish.- 10. Temporal Echo
This is the ability to know the past happenings of an object. Say you found an old, worn stone. Standing close to it, you could discover all the scents that have been around the stone in the past, all the sights that the stone has 'seen' etc. You would basically know the stone's past. This also works on living beings.- 11. Visions
This is a bit like Temporal Echo, but visions come at random. You cannot say when a vision comes, but you will often get one the first time you touch something or someone and they will often be about something or someone close. They are also of the future, whereas temporal echo is of the past.
Atmospheric/Temperature Magic
- 12. Weather Manipulation
This is the ability to influence the weather patterns, for example, you could make it rain or make it sunnier etc. As with most powers, the larger the change you wish to make, the more energy it will take. Changing a very hot and sunny day into a snowstorm will take more energy than changing a foggy day into rain.- 13. Thermokinesis
This is the ability to change the temperature of the surrounding area. You can make it warmer or colder. The larger the change you wish to make to the temperature, such as from 30'C to 0'C, the more energy it takes and the longer it will take to change.
Sense/Movement Magic
- 14. Light/Shadow Manipulation
This is the ability to control the light and shadow amount of an area. You can make it brighter or duller. Though it takes much, much more energy, you can even use the light as a laser, physically harming others with it. Or you can use the Shadow as a suffocating blanket, enough to dampen the senses and drag the air from the immediate area.- 15. Teleportation
This is the ability to physically teleport from place to place. You may be in one place and maybe want to get to another place very quickly. So, you simply teleport and there you are. If you teleport to places you haven't seen before, it takes more energy and the further away you teleport, the more energy it takes. Unfortunately, this ability shouldn't be used repeatedly in battle, because you shouldn't attempt to teleport again, straight after teleporting. You may end up getting stuck in-between.- 16. Invisibility
This is the ability to become unseeable, invisible. Of course, this takes up quite a bit of energy, so it can only be used for small amounts of time or a larger amount of time and then a large rest. It takes more energy to become completely invisible, including sound and scent, than it does to just become invisible to the eye.- 17. Intangibility
This is the ability to become intangible, meaning that although you can still be seen, objects will go straight through you without harming you, whether they are solid, liquid or gas. This ability takes up a lot of energy as well and it takes more energy to become fully intangible and less energy just to have one part of your body intangible. It would be very hard to keep intangibility up for the duration of, say, a whole battle.- 18. Illusion
This is the ability to create an illusion, something that is not real but can be seen, heard or smelt as if it is. This can greatly confuse the senses of another so is almost like putting up a smokescreen. The larger or more realistic the illusion, the more energy it takes to create. It also takes more energy to keep it up for longer.
Other Magic
- 19. Transformation (Morph)
This is the ability to change your form into a certain animal. This ability does not let you change into all animals, you need to get one animal at a time. So, you could have this ability more than once, just with different animals. Energy wise, the longer you stay as an animal, the more energy it takes and if you stay too long in that form, then you may be unlucky enough to get stuck in that form forever...- 20. Poison
This is the ability to secrete a type of poison. It comes from the talons and the beak. The poison does not need energy, but it needs time. A small amount of poison would cause the opponent to become woozy and dizzy and would wear off quite quickly. The more poison that manages to be released, the more deadly it's result. If you got a very large amount of poison in, it could even be fatal. Those with the ability of Poison are also immune to Poison.- 21. Multiply
This is the ability to create additional copies of yourself. The more copies you make, the more energy it takes. Also, the more personality and intelligence you wish to give the 'clones' the more energy it takes. The most basic way, is to create one clone, looking exactly like you, with no free will, no personality, and an almost zombie like way of moving and thinking. At the other end of the scale, you could create a clone that looks nothing like you, has it's own personality, completely free will and seems almost perfect in every way. But, because of the immense amount of energy needed for that, it would not last anywhere near as long as a 'zombie' clone would.- 22. Healing
This is the ability to heal the wounds of others, whether cuts, scrapes, bruises, broken bones or deep injuries. It includes diseases and viruses to a certain extent. As with most powers, you are restricted as to how much you can heal by how much energy it takes. To heal a small scrape takes hardly anything out of you. But, to heal a deep and bloody wound would take much more.
More Powerful/Special Magic

- Death Field
This is a rare ability that is involuntary and uncontrollable. It is said to be more of a curse than a gift and those who have had it have usually taken their own lives after a while. Those with this ability have a kind of large aura, about a couple of metres in length that circles around them. It cannot be seen, but those who step or fly into that two metre zone begin to feel their energy draining and their organs struggling. If anyone stays too long in that zone, or comes too close, will eventually die a painful death. It wouldn't take more than half an hour of staying within that zone before they started to fail completely and die. That is why it is more a curse, because those with this ability can never have anyone close.- Immortality
This is an incredibly rare ability that means that the holder can live forever, without aging or dieing of old age. They will stay the same age as when they get this ability, but any wounds or old scars will heal automatically. An immortal cannot be killed unless their body is literally ripped apart and spread about. Otherwise, they will continue to live and their body will heal itself. Basically, the only abilities that have any chance of killing an Immortal are Disintegration, Possession or Lullaby. Immortals are even immune to Death Field.- Power Mimicry
This is the ability to copy the powers and abilities of another individual who is close by. It allows the holder to use any of their powers, but only for a while. The longer you hold them, the more energy it takes, as well as the energy each power needs to be used. You can only mimic one individual at a time and if you move away from them, your mimicked abilities will begin to get weaker and will fade away.- Power Negation
This is the ability to negate another's powers and abilities, meaning that anyone you use this ability on will not be able to use their powers and abilities while they are around you. The longer you try to keep their powers negated and the more individuals you try to negate at one time, the more energy it will take. This is a very useful power, as it means that no-one can use their powers around you, but once this power wears off of them, or once they move away, they can then use their powers as they would normally. So, this is good for a quick getaway or a quick attack and defeat.- Time Travel
This is the ability to travel backwards and forwards in time, but nothing in time can be changed. When you go back or forwards, you are able to see, hear and scent everything, but, nothing and no-one can see, hear or scent you. Apart from those with the ability of Temporal Echo or Visions, because they can sense Time on you. The further forwards or backwards you go, the more energy it takes and the longer you spend out of your own time, the more likely you are to get trapped wherever you are.- Lullaby
This is the ability to sing a song/tune, that will put everyone who hears it into a deep sleep. Of course, it doesn't always happen that way, because the amount of energy put into the song affects what the song does. A small amount will make those who hear a little drowzy or tired. More could make them sleepy and dozy and much more could put them right off to sleep for a while. If a huge amount of energy is used, this ability can even put others into a sleep that they will never wake up from. Even with a little energy used, this ability is good at calming down tempers and anger, because it instills a feeling of calm and peacefulness.- Possession
This is the ability to posess another being, leaving your own physical body and taking over theirs. The stronger the being you take over, the more energy it will take. You cannot stay posessing them for too long, otherwise there is a risk that you will run out of energy and have to leave their body without enough energy to get back to your own. This means you will be trapped as a spirit forever. While possessing someone, you control everything they do, whether it be going to the loo, or attacking another individual. You also can use their powers. However, while possessing another, your physical body is vulnerable and if it is destroyed, then you will be trapped as a spirit.- Disintegration
This is the ability to cause things to disintegrate into dust with a single touch. This ability takes a lot of energy to use, but is quite powerful when used. It works on both inanimate and living things, but living beings take more energy. With just a little energy, the weilder of this power can cause skin to burn and die. However, with a huge amount of skill and energy, the weilder of this power could actually make a whole bird disintegrate. Afterwards though, they would be very much weakened and vulnerable because of the energy needed to do such a thing.- Reflection
This is the ability to reflect other powers, so when someone tries to use a power on you, then it will not harm you and instead, will go back at them. The strength of the power that you are trying to reflect determines how much energy it would take to reflect it. So, if someone used a large amount of energy to use their power on you, then you would need a slight bit more energy than the amount which they used. You can partially reflect other powers, so their outcome is lessened.
